BBQ Shrimp with Basil Garlic Oil

BBQ Shrimp with Basil Garlic Oil
This is such a simple recipe, perfect for those crazy weeknights. I bought Tiger shrimp from Costco in the shell, they had already been deveined. All I did was marinade them for an hour in a little bit of olive oil, smashed garlic, thyme, a few red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. We threw these on the grill and made a very quick basil garlic oil for drizzling over the top. When I say we put these on the grill I mean my husband did under my direction, hehe! Don’t tell him I said that. Anyway, have a happy and safe evening tonight. Happy Halloween everyone!

Shrimp on the grill
Grilling unpeeled shrimp will make the shrimp flavor pop. We can’t prepare every shrimp meal like this, it’s not always practical depending on the dish. But remember it’s a week night; get messy, have a little fun!
